Wetlace line for biodegradable, plastic-free wet wipes to Turkey

The line is scheduled for start-up by the end of 2021. The neXline wetlace CP line is equipped with state-of-the-art stock preparation equipment, including approach flow and fan pump, opening and blending, TT card, wetlaid forming unit for pulp application, a hydroentanglement system, filtration unit, dewatering, and through-air drying.
The so-called Wetlace CP process combines the benefits of 2 forming technologies (inline drylaid and wetlaid web forming process) with bonding by hydroentanglement. Natural fibers can be processed smoothly and generate a high-performance and cost-efficient wipe that is fully biodegradable and plastic-free.
Lotus Teknik produces, converts, and supplies some 120 million wipes a day for personal, household, and industrial use, exporting 70% of its production.
