Staple fibers from recycled PET bottles

28.02.2020 The Italian company Fiberfil SpA, Casnigo, produces polyester staple fibers using recycled PET bottles.The current production program covers a range from 3.3-40 dtex in different cut-lengths and colors as per customer requirements.

During 2019, a second new production line was installed, making it possible to achieve a capacity of about 30,000 tons/year of fiber. The company’s customers can be found in various industrial sectors such as automotive, spinning, nonwovens, geotextile, hygiene, domestic and industrial abrasives, and filtration.

The Index 20 has been postponed, and will now take place from October 20-23, 2020.
