TWE GmbH & Co. KG, Emsdetten/Germany, manufactures a wide range of ADL (acquisition distribution layers) materials for the hygiene sector.
These fluid management systems have been designed to complement and enhance the performance of baby diaper, adult incontinence and intimate feminine hygiene products based upon size of product and performance criteria requested by the customer. It is a key component in modern diapers not only to avoid leakage but also to improve overall performances of the absorbent core for better comfort and optimum usage of the SAP.
The company’s nonwovens products are available in mono, dual and triple layer profiles, in several different colors and a basis weight range from 20-150 g/m2.
The triple layer SlimCore ADL, for example, enables clients to produce considerably thinner diapers, which reduces production and transportation costs.
The business unit Hygiene of the TWE Group offers solutions that can be tailored to individual customer requirements and demands.
Most recent innovations are focusing on surface dryness and absorption before leakage for ADL.
In addition to this market segment, solutions with the latest state-of-the-art production technology for softcover appliations like topsheet, backsheet and waist band applications are also available. These products come in weight ranges from 18-25 g/m2.
Adding this important segment to the hygiene product portfolio enables the company to offer customers a broad range of nonwovens solutions for their disposable hygiene products.
